Default What to order for the frist time?

Hello, everyone.

I've been saving up money for quiet a while now. Been selling some of my old hardware and watercooling parts. So I'm going to order a Kingpin F1 Dragon.

I've never been into DICE/LN2 before, so I'm just wondering what I should order from Kinpin's site.

Since I will use DICE for the first times, I'm getting a F1 w/ alu extender.

This is my list, how does it look? Should I add something els, like more round tube foam?

Temprature monitor and K-type prob will I get from my uncle. He could give a good deal at them.

Best Regards Kriztoffer. And thanks a lot for looking.

Looks like a pretty good first order.

Maybe throw a tek9 5.0 in there for that 4890....

Thanks a lot.

I'm considering it. But I don't have those 4890's anymore. Getting a Asus or MSI 5870 this month.

But since I'm only a school boy, money is short. I need to focus on one item at time.

But mabye for X-mas

Regards Kriztoffer

You might not need the extension, unless your going to be benching no coldbug AMD chips.

I've heard it's good to use with DICE. What do you think about isolation, Karma?
Should I had some round tube foam?

I've never tried out AMD yet, but in the near future I'd like to try them out. Cause I won't learn everything just by benching intel.

Regards Kriztoffer.

The extension is convenient for DICE benching. And having some tube insulation handy also is very convenient.

In the F1 kit there is some round tube insulation. And it could be used more than one time?

I've seen a few guys on DICE without the extender, and they said it was easy and no problems.

Foam insulation can be used several times.

Great. I'm always carefull so I can probably use it several times.

Thanks, Gunslinger

Hm, this is a bit hard. Some people do reccomand to get the Extender and some does not think it's required.

I know people who bench a lot with DICE and don't use the Extender.

Halp,

Foam insulation can be used several times but id get some xtra. Its good to have to replace the older one in the future and you can use it to insulate the extender itself as wel. I would order a spare set of mounting hardware (springs, plastic washers, thumbscrws) in case something gets lost. Very hard/impossible to get the quality stuff Vince uses here in the EU and its rather cheap.

Extender is not needed but nice, i regret not getting one with me last order (shipment costs is something to keep in mind when your in EU, better make sure you get what you want in 1 package).

Enjoy the F1, killer tube
