Does the serial number earlier or older mean you "might" get a better ASIC ?

No, it's not related to S/N. Not that I'm aware about.

No I didn't think actually related rather than say with memory Bdie not good week 16 wondered if the trend for good ASIC was with higher SN.

Default Stock bios vs EVGA OC bios details anyone know??

Hi,

Just got another Kingpin 980ti off of Ebay. Supposedly never overclocked but arrived running OC bios where as my 980ti Kingpin is running stock bios and I want to SLI them. So was wondering should or does it matter if they have different bios's installed or should I flash them all the same?

At the moment on Air but plan on water cooling them soon. What would be best bios for right now or later? Also anyone also know the clock frequency differences between the stock and OC bios?

Thanks!

Edit: I guess no one gives a shite anymore...

Hi,

Been trying to mod my 980 Ti Kpe bios to get the fan profiles more aggressive using the Maxell bios editor app and no matter what numbers i plug in cant get the rpms to go faster or correspond to the numbers i plugged in to the three fan profiles. At the very least ive been able to inrease the max rpm but that only gets revealed through msi afterburner which is what im using to monitor the rpms. Anyone have any experience on hard moding the fan profiles? Maybe the temp target needs to be adjusted?

Thanks everyone..
