TiN will you review my work before I throw the mod on the chip. I'm doing a vCore mod to my M2N32-SLI Deluxe. Pushing to surpass knopfler .

I narrowed the core voltage controller down to ADP3186. Looks like pin 8 is the money maker here. I got an output of 1.504 on 2k setting with dmm. Thus 20*1.504 = 30.08k. So a 50k vr to ground should work the wonders right?

Double checking..

  • Mod request
  • Which hardware do you need to mod? VGA
  • Hardware model label? Geforce 8400 (G98)
  • What do you need? Vmem mod
  • What VRM controller does your hardware run? No idea.. have some pictures attached, also with vcore mod i found out my self, but there is no other pwm controller on the card...
  • Describe you issues, why you need that mod? More POWAH!

By the way, the capacitor on the picture above on the left side is 2.5v, so seems for mem.. but no pwm controller nearby?

what i'm trying to say is that you look up you're chips on the pcb and look for info and datasheets of them, and like that you will find out what you need the alter the resistance to get more voltage on a item

Leave that logic 7408 alone, guys

Vmemory here regulated by linear power source.

on the first photo - SOT-23-3 "transistor-like" chip seems like TL432, it's driving power mosfet in DPAK package. Download datasheet for TL432, and recalculate resistor divider for wanted voltage (those 0603 resistors near GATE pin of DPAK fet). Take care not to make mistakes there
