Wat about KT-2 or TK-2

You couldn't do that even if you wanted to. Without server class chips you cannot run dual CPU's. If it were possible, the SR-2 would already be using extreme edition desktop processors

@kIngpIn/TiN: Is it possible to mount cooling devices with common LGA1366 backplates? I've seen the new pictures from vr-zone with threaded rods for the container mounting, but I'm not sure if they are screwed into the screw thread (my guess) or mounted via backplate. Will EVGA include a changable socket bracket like ASUS does with the X79 ROG-boards or provide it as optional accessory at least?

Not sure it's large enough.

Yes, standard 1366 coolers can be installed, just need to screw thru 2011 socket ILM, which is not hard to do. Thread on LGA2011 ILM is bigger than usual mount rods.

So it's possible even without changing the ILM - that's great! Thanks for the information! (I'm thinking about some dual-evap-action. )
