If you use Windows XP, please make sure you're running latest GPU-Z 0.8.5. Otherwise there's a throttling issue with these cards. Clocks would be stuck at 405Mhz core and PCI-E Gen 1.1 while GPU-Z was open. Closing it would bring things back to where they should be.

Only applies to GPU-Z older than 0.8.5 on Windows XP, was tested with 344.11 and 353.30 drivers.

Hi. Anyone else has tried this mod ? I own 2 locked strix with .81 bios.
Ver 2.00.
Can anyone explain more about this hard mod ? I'm new into this but I would like to try it out!

One more question. Can someone upload a tool/program/utility that allow to change voltage on a locked strix ?
(Would this work ? its for 980 strix not TI)
