Default Sealing the copper base to the body

So I just did a quick dry ice run with a gemini pot i recently picked up and have found a small issue. A slow leak of acetone where the copper base slides into the aluminum body of the pot. How do you recommend sealing this to prevent fluids from leaking out?

Maybe some kind of caulk or something?

Just wrap some painters tape around it. It will hold and you won't have residue when you take it off.
