Nice work! Too bad some components cost quite a bit.

Default Project complete! Now Repaired!

Finally some good results! Found a burnt out SMD resistor on the back of the card (100 ohm 0402) which was shorting one of the RAM data lines to GND

Also given the GPU a quick reflow with some Insat Super flux

Card is now recognized as a Radeon HD7900 Series. (I've underclocked & undervolted both RAM & GPU for now)

Overall, very pleased with the result! There's going to be more projects posted up once I've finished stressing this card

Yes the card is working fine, even after a few hundred hours of gaming and benching. I've also flashed a HD7970 bios to the card

Got the Vcore at 1.3v and Vmem at 1.55v (bios edited)

Core @ 1375MHz
Mem @ 1550MHz

Can push the core even further with extra voltage but the temps are pretty high. I'm investing in a waterblock for the card to squeeze out the extra juice.

Memory is limited as its Hynix and won't go any higher even with extra voltage.

I've also glued some heatsinks to the VRM/MOSFETs which keeps them nice and cool @ 60*c under full load.

Core temp hits 68*c after a few hours of gaming. If I crank the fan to 100% it drops to below 60 but is too noisy for my liking.
All I've done instead is edit the PWM profile so the fan reacts faster to the core temp.
I've also raised the TDP limit to prevent the card from throttling.
