Bought a Tek 9 5.0 to play with, have some questions
So I seem to be missing some of the screws for it, I was going to order the replacement ones but shipping is $15 on that. That just seems like an awfully high amount for screws that can go in a 4 inch bubble wrap envelope. Is that an accurate quote and is there a way to get shipping down to say $5 or so ideally? I'd just hate to pay more shipping than the screws cost.

Also, I do have all of the brackets, but for the backside one for 9800GX2 and GTX 295, I don't understand how exactly it mounts. It's not the one in this guide:

It's this one:

It's odd because none of the screw holes line up on the unit and that bracket, and none of the other brackets fit obviously since they're for the front side.

Any thoughts? I can do pics if need be.

Oh, also, will any mods be needed to the mounts to mount it on a GTX 580 or a GTX 480?

As u know, everything ships out of Taiwan currently so the shipping can be higher depending on where u live. Send me a pm and maybe we can work something out dude. I usually don't mind hooking u guys up. If there is anything else you need, can always get those screws at no additional shipping cost if u get it.
As for Tek 5.0, this unit is no longer produced and was a bit unique at that time. I don't support the backside bracket for this pot anymore as the rev6 and beyond units have been redone. For sure the current backside bracket for slim 6 will not fit this unit. Using the proper bracket for 580/480 will work fin on this unit. The front side mounting for the most part is cross compatible on all gpu units. Hope this helps ya..

Thanks Vince, good info in that post. I will most likely pick up a Tek 9 Slim and a Gemini if I get into USAFA, waiting to hear from them. So if I go to college for free I'll be sending you an order. :)

Much appreciated. Let me see on my application, I find out next month, and then I'll see if I need just screws or if I need pots and screws. :)
